This game just came out. In addition to being damn good so far, it also has an excellent soundtrack. I’m likely going to have to pick up the full thing soon, but here’s an extended version of one of the more common themes.
[Edit] Looks like they’re taking them down. What a shame.
Have you got a link to the game?

It’s on Steam! 🙂
Damn that looks cool.
It really is. It’s a lot more approachable than Crusader Kings 2 (a previous Paradox 4x game).
In the 45 minutes I got to play at lunch today, I explored 4 star systems, researched better factories, discovered the remains of a long-dead alien hegemony, studied space-squids, discovered a new world ripe for colonization (as soon as I can build a colony ship) and fought a space-battle to save my mining station from starfaring religious extremists of my own nation.
And I haven’t even encountered another alien civ yet.
I’m on a self-imposed no-spending spree for a bit. Broke down and picked up a book on how to write fantasy gazetteers for a fantasy map I finally did. 🙂
