Which PbtA games have end of session experience awarding?

It seems mostly you collect XP while you play (eg when you roll a highlighted stat, on a miss, a move says so). I was wondering if there were any with a Burning Wheelesque end of session summary/epilogue where it can be awarded instead.

I think Freebooting Venus has it. Are there others?

Cheers

  1. Dungeon World has it, in addition to misses. You get awarded XP at the end of a session as an individual if you fulfilled your alignment/drive or addressed a bond with another character, and as a group if you learned about, killed, and/or looted something new and memorable.

  2. Fraser Simons it occurs to me that we’re both doing cyperpunkish style games…mine’s a more niche genre and often lacks the punk end of the genre, but still very near-future cyber-stuff.  Mine is for reproducing things like Sword Art Online, Log Horizon, Tron, Captain Power, dot/Hack, Accel World, The Gamer…etc…

  3. There’s a bunch of cyberpunk games all of a sudden. I backed Headspace and was a little reluctant to back more, but maybe I was hasty

  4. I haven’t kickstarted mine yet…working on Divine Blood’s first supplement right now and then have some novels and short stories to finish

plus after the delays with Divine Blood I like to get most of the playtesting out of the way before kickstarting.

  5. Craig Vial Yes, sir. It’s pretty unique though, I’d say. But I am slightly biased. It does stray from what people think is traditional cyberpunk, though. I’ve got beliefs as advancement, tags for cybernetics, tools for the MC to reverse engineer a question about cyberpunk the players want to explore together, a social debt system and the playbooks are really different. All the playtesting stuff is free on the Kickstarter, so you can totally check it all out first, before backing it!

  6. Blades in the Dark does this. It is sort of PbtA. It uses desperate actions as one source of advancement (+1 per action), as well as roleplay triggers at the end of the session which earn additional advancement per trigger met (3 RP triggers, earning 1 or 2 XP per trigger per session)
