  2. Powered by the Apocalypse games are descriptive and prescriptive. If something happens in the fiction that would increase a stat, then your stat increases. It shouldn’t be a regular thing, not by any stretch, but hey if your character goes through an alien bioforge and manages to survive being ripped apart and restitched molecule by molecule, its probably okay to toss them a stat bump.

  3. Also, this is why Data Points are so valuable. If you’re gonna take down the Star of Death with a bomb from a shuttle, you sure as shit had better Assess the crap outta that space station.
