Preparing character sheets for a new playtest I’ve got scheduled a week from now. The main goal of this test is to try out some of the new Species rules (which I’ll be posting soon).

Ohman, I hadn’t realized until I saw this how perfect FTL is as food for Scenario starters.
Love the pixel art. You should put this kind of pixel art (well, slightly more detailed) everywhere in your books.
Lovely combo of UW and FTL. Very cool.
Looks great
Kudos to Sean Gomes – I started a Bulldogs! game for my kids, and one session in I have to switch over to UW. It’s SO. MUCH. EASIER to GM, and lets me focus on fiction, rather than mechanics.
I know, standard *World praise, but it’s true.
I will have some questions about starship combat later, though.
Andrea Parducci I would love to but that sprite art is not mine. It belongs to the game FTL (http://www.ftlgame.com/) which I strongly encourage everyone to pick up, it’s amazing.
The characters were me testing the flexibility of my new (as-of-yet un-previewed) Species rules for Far Beyond Humanity. I figured I’d run a one-shot in the FTL universe for fun.
I broke my finger on the +1 button.
[anxious twitching intensifies]
Justin Phillips Not in this particular game, since I’m testing out the Species rules.
Though I did strongly consider giving one of the characters a Human NPC sidekick named Ensign Jimmy or something.
