So, I finally found an alternative to the stat name TEMPLE in my #NahualRPG : BRÍO. At the end they look like this:
FURIA — Fury, aggression, brute force, stamina, tetchiness, stubbornness. Your capacity for violence and physical potency.
BRÍO — Grit, spirit, resolve, strength of character, mental toughness. Your fortitude or endurance to face any risk or difficulty.
MAÑA — Knack, cleverness, skill, mental agility, insight, artifice, expertise in something. Your ability to resolve a problem or react to a situation.
PASIÓN—Passion, fervor, self-esteem, sensitivity, empathy, intuition. Your force of personality and attraction. That special no se qué.
What do you think? You think it will be hard to grasp the Spanish terms?
<3!
These are great! “Maña” is the only one that feels unfamiliar to me, and it’s easy enough to get.
This is great. The Spanish terms are right for the game, and easy to comprehend. It’s as easy to incorporate new words from actual languages as it is to wrap ones head around “life points” and “dice pools” and all the other stuff we take in stride as gamers.
Nope, I think you explained them very clearly, and I’m looking forward to seeing them in action!
I love how they’re practically the same in Portuguese as well, both in spelling and in meaning: Fúria, Brio, Manha (also Malandragem, Malícia), and Paixão.
