Anybody thought about how you would design a move for hackers fighting with counter hackers. The book mentions to design custom moves if you want that to be a thing…the player who wants to play a hacker was thinking it operates similar to Mix It Up…but uses Cool instead of Meat.

That doesn’t sound unreasonable. Just add some matrix flair and you’re good to go. The harm track would be going to the deck and not the hacker, herself, unless that’s the fiction as established.
So, “Mix It Up” is about seizing objectives in the face of active opposition… e.g. capturing the security control room, taking down the guards in the process. What kind of objectives or targets would you be envisaging for a matrix-based version of the move?
Simon Geard Shutting out the rival hacker, attempting to burn him with black ICE, or rerouting him somewhere else to buy yourself some more time?
Sounds reasonable, yep. I guess too, a lot of things covered by the regular matrix moves would also come under this one, when used aggressively.
