Is the Assault Cannon supposed to have the “+loud” tag? I find it odd that it doesn’t.

It has +autofire, right? That includes +loud.
It has “area”, “messy”, “breach” and “clumsy”, but no “autofire”. I also read “+autofire” and it doesn’t mention the tag granting “+loud”, but makes sense to me.
Hmm. I’ll look this evening. Suffice to say, it should be +loud, yes, but I thought that tag was included under another of its tags.
While I have you here, allow me to say your game is REALLY good! Cyberpunk 2013 was my one of my first RPGs and I played CP2020 for years. Add in my deep love for Deus Ex and for me, you hit the bullseye with The Sprawl!
Thanks Ben! I hope it brings you as much fun at the table as it has for me!
“Breach” probably should imply “loud” as well, given that it’s hard to smash a hole in a wall silently…
Breach COULD be fairly quiet though depending on the applied method. You could burn a hole through steel without setting off an explosive.
Cutting torches and grinding tools aren’t very quiet, though…
Not as loud as breaching explosives, but still pretty far from quiet.
Yup, +breach includes +loud and +AP (p.132), although you’re right Gregory; things like thermite would need a different tag.
But the real question is, “Have you said in-game ‘State of the Art…Bang-Bang!’ yet?”
Saying that should give you +20 ongoing.
