  1. I’ve used the info from the first session to build factions and characters in Madrid and Paris.

2 seasons in Madrid, 1 in Paris. Aprox. 10 plays each.

    I find it amusing ^_^

  2. Don’t know exactly what do you mean :S (non native english, sorry).

Before the first session there was no info for the city. Players decided to play in those cities, and using first session rules we created the basis.

From that point on, I use the rules in the book to create factions, characters, menaces, and a web of relations and interests.

This is the document I use as reference for the game (spanish): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tyR3Z6LXaU81JKYUAgUS7mLSocKduLeSxdTRT6fOwlQ/edit?usp=sharing

  3. Brian Poe ran a game where we made up a city in the American Southwest called Elster. He grabbed a fictional street map and we drew stuff into it as we created our characters. So the aware was a detective and we put the police station there, and that was downtown. The Immortal lived in a lux hotel down the street from there. The slightly crazy Wizard lived out of his car (1970s police car) in an abandoned lot by the railroad tracks, but his ex-lover was the head of the Council of Scales and her house was a big mansion across town in the old money district. We’d fill in stuff like the fairgrounds where the Night Circus set up as it came up in play. It went great!

  4. My friends and i were discussing creating our own city. It would probably take a session. Dresden Files rpg has a great set for creating an interesting and vibrant city.

I don’t know how to create the map however, if people have suggestions?

  5. Google up a city that has a look you like, get the streetmap. Now, using paper and pen, roughly copy it. Focus on major routes and features. Next (I’d use pencil) draw in some neighbourhoods. Use the map to find edges, like alongside the big freeway and as far as the stadium. Then name about half of them and maybe give a one-line description. Then give it to your players.
