Coming soon to Roll20.net: Uncharted Worlds Charsheet.

Version 1.0 is almost finished. First time I did one so I’m not sure how long it will take from GitHub pull request to release.

  1. That’s what I meant with “almost finished”. 🙂 I spent the weekend with the css/HTML and the peculiarities of the roll20 ecosystem. Clickable dice rolls etc are all doable but I need to check how this will impact the current layout. I only started learning the roll20 api two days ago, so I don’t know all the implications yet. If all goes to plan I’ll add macros/functions tonight and finish 1.0

If you’d like to test it I can send you the code. Just copy/paste it in the game settings / character sheet / custom fields and you can start using it.

  2. Coolness, so going to use this when/if the Sunday Skypers opt in for season two of my UW campaign. [We’re shifting back to season two of Burning Beards, so it might take a while.] 🙂

  3. Sean Gomes Clickable rolls are in. Just click on the stat symbols and it will roll. The buttons are invisible so they don’t interfere with the layout. Alas, everything took a bit longer than expected. I cleaned up some issues on the first page and made it a bit more comfortable to read and use. Please bare with me for another day. It’s almost 12 at night over here and there are about two hours of work left. Todos: I want to make the Factions area resemble the design used for the pregen characters.(this may take a little) Then I need to do a general cleanup of leftover html and css, create the markdown (help) file and preview picture, then push it up to github. This won’t take very long but it adds up. 🙂 Thanks for the nice comments!

  4. +Todd Zürcher it will be available as a choice in the roll20 character sheet drop down box as soon as the pull request on git hub is through. I’ll upload the code to my blog in about an hour for you guys to try it out.

  5. Here you go:

Please post comments/bugs/suggestions here in the comments. I didn’t crossbrowser-test it beside Chrome and Opera yet. It should work on most modern browsers but you never know. Please note that you have to enter the stats with +/- signs for the rolls to work correctly. Vincent Quigley

  6. Update for version 1.1: Played around with dynamic background images.( Goal => Choose origins/career and the sheet displays the appropriate pictures from the rulebook). Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be possible at the moment, as the Roll20 server doesn’t allow any kind of scripting that isn’t explicitly stated in the official api. (it looked totally cool in the non-dynamic version though). Made the rules summary on the back page clickable (click rolls move). Will try to add context menus for the moves that work with (any) stat. In case you wonder: Version 1.0 is still waiting for approval.

  7. Oli Once you finish, if you are willing to guide me (I have just played a few times in roll20), I wouldn’t mind adding a Spanish translation to your sheet.
