Hey PBTA folks – anyone know where I can score a set of playbooks for James Mullen ‘s The Hood? I’m running it at Revelation next month (a PBTA-only convention in Sheffield, UK) and could do with them for setup.

Found a copy in the original SG thread. It seems to have all 27 playbooks, but I’m not positive that they’re the final iteration.

The Playbooks are all available here http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/151133/The-Hood-Directors-Cut

Am I missing something or do you have to buy the whole thing through DTRPG to get the playbooks?
er my bad… I have bought the whole thing, but I got it POD so hadn’t realised I had a .pdf of the playbooks too. I’m assuming I’m OK to share these with my players?
Feel free to share the playbooks and cheat sheet of the basic moves: I’ve sent you an invite to the Groundhoggoth community Guy Milner but here’s the link for anyone else who is interested. https://plus.google.com/communities/101512333025636255671
cool – thanks James!
Max Hervieux if you’re playing the game, you should probably buy it. Very few game designers are just rolling in cash. It’s also like $4
Oh I know, I’m not playing it myself. I’m just accustomed to such resources being available outside of purchasing the core document. I wouldn’t fault James if he doesn’t do that, it just seemed unconventional.
Thread-jacking: anyone found any APs for The Hood anywhere?
There’s a long AP report I wrote about the three-session game I played with some friends via Hangouts last year: https://www.ukroleplayers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=20519
Gregor Vuga also covers the highlights of a game he played using the original, blue-cover edition: http://redmoosegames.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/report-from-hood.html
I’m sure there are others, I just can’t find the links to them right now, but maybe Pavel Berlin can tell us a tale about a Russian game?
James, I thought we put just the play books online. Have you thought about putting the play books and the joke themes all up on deivethru?
Also, if anyone wants to play the hood …. I will be running a couple games on gauntlet hangouts next month.
