The weirdest thing about this picture is that while the bucket is clearly shaped to fit around the wearers shoulders, those hoses on top attach to exactly nothing. Not the bucket. Not the pump (which is probably a bilge pump anyway), not each other. Straight up weird. Ooo! Unless Skeeter needs that helmet to survive outside the maelstrom!
Meguey Baker I noticed that too. I’m guessing he (she?) is breathing real air when on the surface, and only attaches the hose and closes the doors when going under.
It’s a hard knock life, for sure.
