Question about Lay On Hands: should it be rolled with interface instead of expertise? Given its arcane/clerical nature, it seems like a better fit most of the time.

Interface is when accessing computers or electronic systems isn’t it?
Normally, but in FBH it’s extended to include arcane stuff. Or at least that’s how I understood it.
This is an interesting topic that I’ll have to cover in the Arcana chapter (so: thank you!).
Basically, magical/supernatural abilities leverage standard skills. Much in the same way that you can use an arc welder to fix a leak (Expertise) or slice at an enemy (Physique) or even interrogate someone (Influence), the magic is a prop that gives you narrative options and modifies the potential results.
So in that respect, Lay On Hands is augmenting your ability to fix and heal things, but still relies on your Expertise.
Interface is about parsing data, making calculations, making connections, deductive reasoning, and a lot of other high-minded math and/or philosophy. Probe (Telepath career) leverages Interface because you’re sifting thought-data looking for the pieces you need.
