You’re better than they are.
Time to prove it.

(I welcome your feedback; unlike The Youth, it’s harder to see why this person fits into the team and doesn’t go solo, and how they can exist outside of the core identity of A-hole.)
Need permission to see it 🙂
Unless you intend for it to be limited viewership your permissions are misaligned.
Already some great feedback!
Ooh, I’m always up for a new playbook!
The most immediate thing that sticks out to me, skimming it over is the I Know You’re Type Move. Every other playbook in Masks that has a “roll x instead of y” move has a little condition to go with it, such as “Dramatically standing tall under fire” rather than just changing the stat rolled.
You’re absolutely right. Fixing it.
If you want them to “exist outside of the core identity of A-hole,” you might want to focus on ambition instead of arrogance. A character who’s determined to become The Very Best but not there yet is way, way more sympathetic than one who’s already confident in their own greatness (and besides, any playbook can be played as a narcissistic brat). Tomorrow is mine and their share a weakness or vulnerability are both good starting points for this.
I have taken inspiration from this and now am working on playbook ideas.

That’s a fabulous idea.
Rewrote much of it with Seb’s suggestion.
Ooh, I especially love Join the Pantheon.
