I’m looking at Declare a Contact and, after skimming every reference to contacts in the book, I’m unclear on what “Once per mission” means.
Does this mean one contact per mission total or is EACH PLAYER entitled to one contact per mission?
If each player gets a contact, that seems like a LOT of contacts could pile up very quickly, especially with moves that add more. But one-per-player-per-mission also seems strange since it would mean that one player making the move takes away the opportunity for others to make it for the rest of the mission.
It’s each PC once per mission, and I don’t think it ever got overwhelming. With 4 PCs, it’s a max of 4 contacts per mission, and chances are your PCs are going to go back to the same contacts in the future rather than creating new ones if the already-extant contact has the required expertise.
That makes sense – thanks!
Plus if they get too many contacts, you can always kill them off as Corp moves 😉
My players are ruthless. They’ll kill their own contacts for me.
Aaron Berger – well, that’s one way to stop all the debts adding up.
