Hello! The Gauntlet community, which produces the +1 Forward podcast (among other PbtA things) produces a zine called Codex. It is crammed full of PbtA stuff. Today is the last day to get all the back issues of the zine by making a $4 pledge on our Patreon. Just wanted to give you all a heads up.
Thanks!
It’s also got a brand new PbtA short play game called Wind on the Path, where 2 people play Samurai in a duel. Very cool mechanics.
I specifically support these guys for Codex. I’ve never actually had time to listen to any of their podcasts.
The codex is worth the patreon price alone, but the podcasts in my opinion are some of the best.
Good gravy that looks great. I’m just so far behind on everything in my hobby life that I can’t justify jumping in. But this is the coolest looking thing to come on my radar for awhile. Thank you for mentioning it.
Just backed it for the back issues and forward issues. Is it an emailed link?
todd estabrook go to our page and then click on “Posts.” But hurry! They were already supposed to be out of the stream.
And thanks for your support!
todd estabrook For the back issues, look at the recent posts in their Patreon feed. Should be an appropriate post with links there.
In fact, it’s the second one down. But to save you time, this is it:
patreon.com – Codex Back Issues (Repost) | The Gauntlet on Patreon
Assuming you’re logged in to Patreon and you’re a backer, you can download all the issues from links in that post.
Forward, they should announce new issues on their feed, but depending on your Patreon settings, you could be getting those new posts as emails if that’s what you want.
Hmmm, as usual, I probably over-explained that. 🙂
Kirt Dankmyer – thank you for the explanation! I’m not at home at the moment, so will need to wait until later today.
Jason Cordova tried to download on my phone and the PDFs won’t open.
todd estabrook If you can’t grab them before they get taken down, just message me on Hangouts and I’ll email them to you. No prob.
I’ll probably leave them up throughout today, though.
Got em. Thanks again!
New patron and just checked this out, I can’t believe the work and artistry that goes into this. Well worth the $4.
Thanks, Christopher Grey!
