My next stream (https://www.twitch.tv/peregrinekiwi) will be focused directly on The Sprawl and design. I have a short list of ideas, but I’ll soliciting more. What would be useful and or interesting?

Design in what sense? How you designed it? How the hacks (Prime, Darkening Alley, etc.) were designed? How to design a scenario?
I was going to ask just how focused you were on having “design” be the topic of this particular vlog as well. As I mentioned on Twitter, I think broadening your scope to include tips on running the Sprawl in the way you intended the game to be ran would be a really interesting listen. Trying to poll the community regarding design specific questions will probably yield fewer results because the number of us who are budding designers has got to be less than the percentage of players who would be MCs.
All that said, I’ll reiterate what I mentioned earlier and encourage you to set a tone for the episode by discussing cyberpunk tropes in general that you love and that you feel The Sprawl does well at conveying, and then talk in greater detail on how folks might incorporate the defining tropes that set Cyberpunk apart from other types of Sci-Fi stories into their games using MC tricks and storytelling methods.
That idea of codifying cyberpunk tropes feels like the beginning of something interesting to me.
Any and all of those, Christo Meid, depending on interest.
Brandon Fincher when I say The Sprawl and design, I mean ” The Sprawl ” and “design” as separate things as well as where they intersect.
The idea you suggested of “codifying cyberpunk tropes” sounds to me like both MC advice and design advice, in that it would involve unpacking the existing codification both a) to explain them better for use and b) to show how I got there.
It seems likely that most of what I have to say about The Sprawl will be “how and why did I do X” and “how can use the game to do Y at the table”. I’ll also have stuff to say about other games I’m actively designing.
I would be interested in you discussing what you’ve seen people struggle with in running the Sprawl as GM (or is it MC?), and how you would recommend running it to avoid those issues. Of course, I’m also interested in how you got to some design decisions, such as the Harm move. Why did you feel that was necessary?
