I am curious about your Lawgivers!
Here we have had two very different approaches:
1) The Black Shield always protected the Rich, and always reserved their justice to the Poor, never stealing along the way. Yeap, the remnants of a corporate law enforcement agency.
2) The Department always protected Technicians and always reserved their justice to Vandals, never Sabotaging along the way. Volunteers patrolling a derelict ship, fighting just to keep it running.
3) The Rangers always protected Americans and always reserved their justice to Foreigners, never Stealing along the way. In a post Final War Alaska, enemies were everywhere.
The Libertini, a society of escaped slaves and their descendants who seek to break the shackles and kill the owners of the Homeland. Their ban is on lying, because a slave has nothing to give but their word, and the memory of that unspoken code of honor remains strong.
The Society of Innocence always protect Children , and always reserved their justice for Oathbreakers, and never gave Disrespect. The descendants of old crime families, who believed the criminals of the post-Fall world had forgotten their honor.
J Patrick Stebbins “The end of the world is no reason to lose your manners.”
Yours are great!
The Black Shield was the longest running around here, and gave the Lawgivers a bad reputation rsss
