Has anyone thought about doing The Star as a politically active figure, rather than just a celebrity?

Check out “Scarlet” by Brian Michael Bendis. And maybe “The Invisibles” by Grant Morrison.
That is literally the character that I’m playing right now. Cupertino started off as an Apple sponsored hero to show off their cutting edge technology, but he quickly turned into a firebrand who lead a Halcyon City wide uprising against the fascist police state. Press conferences eventually got added to his power set.
