Can someone explain to me how exactly The Vamp’s Web works?
My Vamp player when asked about how does it work, told us that she gets something like flashbacks/visions (when she learns a secret about someone at the beginning of the session).
That snowballed into the idea of being mentally linked to the people in her Web.
Are we doing it allright? It’s a cool idea but it’s on a verge of some serious telepathic shit (like Vampiric Blood Bonds in True Blood) and could open the opportunity to lend a hand/get in the way for people who are in the Web.
Better safe than sorry, right?

The beauty of the game is that you can define it as you like. However I’d be careful about remote and telepathic help or interfere, there are moves that allow that.
In my mind vamp web is a network of people working for vamp, humans hooked on vamp blood -ghouls, lesser vamps, network of spies and informants.

Now that you called me to answer I had to read all playbooks. Veteran intimacy move gives such option.

By all means if players and you are fine with such option, it can be fun. But it post more questions, do vamp then knows where you are and what you do all the time, does he listen in on all your activities etc.
If you are interested in such mind powers the hallowed is the playbook, he can control his gang mentally.

@Sandro – You can run the Web any way that makes sense to you! That’s the best part of Apocalypse World games. 😀
I would avoid allowing players to help/interfere at a distance, if only because there is another move that you’re undercutting by giving that one to the Vamp for free. But… that’s a perfect move for an advancement or if the Vamp advances Let It Out and you need a permanent growth in powers.
