Wanted to see if anyone has come up with any interesting custom moves relating to the characters and their families. So far, my players haven’t really touched at all on their families (something I am looking to change), so I’m wondering if anyone has anything relating in particular to mundane families and how they deal with the super-powered problems of their children.

Thus far I’ve only ever used them as vehicles for moves I’m making. So, if I want to inflict a condition I might have the parent of a hero yell at them about how much they’ve screwed up. I’ll have a sibling tell them who they are. I’ll have a younger sibling play with a more well-loved teammate’s action figure to bring them together via comparison.
I can go on, but I’ve not found any reason to make up new moves with the variety already provided between the basic GM moves, soft and hard versions, and the individual playbook moves.
Is there something more specific than these available options you are looking for?
Well, the Halcyon City Herald Collection offered forth some great custom moves that involved dealing with the press and public opinion, both to your benefit and disadvantage. Family life should be rife with opportunities to make the character’s heroic lives more complicated, even if the hero isn’t a Janus or Legacy.
