Any tips on starting cyberware or the Catabolist? I’ve told my player that they likely have custom cybernetics at the start of the campaign but they don’t provided additional capabilities, I’ve also handwave that they have a cobbled together Neurochip so they can percieve he Veil. how have you handled this playbook in your games?

I usually don’t consider a Neurochip cybernetics so they have that, otherwise I don’t generally have them start with anything since they can make their own fairly easily (depending on due results).
Fraser Simons cool, it might be a distinction to put in future revisions, that said it was pretty easy to handwave. Our game is going to start in full swing next week, everyone seems pretty excited.
I thought the text in the cybernetics section of that playbook is pretty clear. You don’t start with cybernetics and you can’t make use of any cybernetics save for the ones you make yourself?

I think the distinction is that I considered the neurochip as cybernetic because of the fiction, I get now that mechanically it’s not. Highly likely that it’s just my interpretation.
