This looks interesting! Any plans for an English translation?
Peter J In the future…i hope. However, the language fluency dependency during the session is low. 🙂
I’d be willing to slowly work out the Portuguese (only know some Spanish). ; )
Yikes, saw another photo with all of the text all over the other side so that’s beyond time I have. Nice discount to about $24 U.S. (Looks like $33 after March 31st) and figure it could be used for Legacy-Life After Apocalypse, too.
well, crowdfunding may be a solution to enable a rule book translation. I’ll see if it’s possible. For now, it’s just an idea. 🙂
Hi! Thanks for sharing this. Can you tell me how the card mechanics work within the PbtA framework?
David Bowers In short, statistics, life, damages and any other values, dangers, characters, creatures, as well as tags, are on the cards. The mechanics of movements are the center of the system in cards. The rest was adapted or changed by other systems.
The cards allow changes in the dynamics of the game. No notes are made during the game. Collective creation is enhanced by illustrations. In addition, archetypes are much more fluid and the evolution of characters is completely different.
Wow that’s a kind of thing I’ve been wanting to see or design for a long time but haven’t known how to do it or where to find it! Do certain symbols refer to a good outcome (like 10+) others to a mixed outcome (like 7-9) and others to a miss? Or is there something else going on entirely? That is, in what way is it anything like PbtA at all?
David Bowers Exactly! The symbols on the cards represent attributes, tags, results, and a few more things.
In addition, the narrator uses the letters to ask questions and build the scene in a shared narrative. Each movement deepens what is known about the world and its dangers.
It is in Portuguese, but the rule book can be downloaded for free and this blog explained very well the general operation of the game:

Kickstart a translation and I’d be all over this 🙂
Diego Azevedo, interesting, thank you 😊. I wonder if automatic translation software could help me get the basics of it.
