We just finished incorporating all errata and player feedback and are proud to announce the latest version of Shadowrun in The Sprawl

I hope you all enjoy it! The changes are mostly minor and mostly effect metatype moves and the Cast a Spell move.
Thanks, and stay hidden in the shadows.

This is really solid. You mechanized far more than I would have with sprawl as is, but I really like how much this focuses on the shadowrun elements.
Riley Crowder Well, I added 2 moves (one of which was suggested to add in the core book), added moves for the metas, and made one playbook. I honestly don’t see how I could have mechanized it less unless I left metatypes to only be represented by tags, which felt a little light.
Nah you did fine. Its just perspective issues since I also wrote up a Shadowrun Conversion but went a different direction. 🙂 I like the tags you used for races, that was something I left out (I just added the custom move).
The only different thing I did is that instead of making the magic user a different template I made it a sub template that changed what choices you got, but didn’t separately the playbook out entirely.
I also didn’t bother with a drain mechanic, it seemed like damage in Sprawl was bad enough as is for failure, and could be injected again just in failed spell rolls.
But trust me I don’t think you did anything wrong, we just went different directions.
Of course!
Great job on the flavor! I’d love to see you push the Shadowrun angle all the way into new directives, use them to help show the players what different priorities we might see in the Shadowrun world vs some other cyberpunk universe.
