Hey all, I need a quick rules clarification.
When “Taking a Powerful Blow”, one of the choices on a 7-9 roll is to “provoke” a teammate into foolhardy action.
How do you all play this? Is it purely narrative? Do you follow up with the Provoke move?
As far as I can tell (or have ever seen it used in APs) it’s actually using the Provoke move.
Yeah, if you read the section on that move in the core book and the example given, it’s actually using the Provoke move.
Yep, the PC picking that option has to use the Provoke move to push a teammate to foolhardy action or take advantage of their Influence (thus giving it up) to inflict a condition on a fellow player.
If the PC picks Provoke, then the normal Provoking a PC conditions apply: On a hit, the PC adds a team to the pool if he or she does the action, or marks a condition if he or she does not do the action.
Great. Thanks everyone!
