At the link, you’ve got a great pitch for the setting: lead with that! PbtA-inspired games aren’t exactly in short supply, so what makes your approach, setting, rules interesting and unique? Not trying to be challenging, genuinely interested.
Mark Redacted Hi Mark. Thanks for the comment. The game is set in an apocalypse where the players portray children – the survivors in a world where all the “grown-ups” have turned into violent, evil savages. The game uses a modified and streamlined version of the rules found in my previous game KARMA. The game uses a unique mechanic where you get an opportunity to introduce complications into other player’s scenes. The game supports campaign and one-shot play. In addition to character playbooks (which may feel slightly familiar to PbtA afficianados) there is also a tribe sheet where the status of the tribe is tracked, as well as the haven sheet which is an evolving and shifting map of the world which the players create together. Also, each session is framed around a mission sheet – where threats and challenges are loosely defined before play begins.
Sorry I’m waffling. Also, we just hit our funding goal. 3 weeks left. Please consider supporting and/or sharing.
