Uncharted Worlds Forum now opened
Hello everyone.
Just a quick note to let you know that
https://uncharted-worlds.com/forum
is now operational. You can register old-fashioned way or using your G+ account (through Oneall (which will be obvious from the registration window), who manages the whole API, OAuth thingies).
This is my first phpBB board (and my first board in a long while), so if something doesn’t quite work, or if you can’t manage registration and posting, let me know here, as I will monitor this post.
I will make sure to save as much of the content of this community as possible. There are some options Sean should have access to that should allow for retention of the data. Once that is done, it will be added to the website.

Now torn – do I use this name, or a different one? Also, what happens to plus registrations when plus disappears?

Larp Wellington Given the ubiquity of Google registration, I doubt that is going away (for that board and in general). As for the crash, can you be more specific? From my end the forum seems perfectly fine.
Larp Wellington There’s not really such a thing as a G+ account. Logins are with your generic Google account (which is the account you use to login to G+).
Well, I still see no new activity and I did try to post an intro thread in general. And there are no options to add topics to the other sections.
I think comments are getting stuck in moderation, probably because everyone posting them is on a brand new account. I expect that once the backlog gets cleared and the accounts “age” a bit, most posts won’t need moderation to go through, and actual discussion can happen.
Julie Murray It was giving me 404s for a while, but got back up after a few hours. Though I don’t seem to be able to get the Google account linking to work. Maybe if I try a different browser…

Cleared the moderation log and removed the moderation for new posters. If we get swamped by spammers, I’ll address it.
