1. The different rules subsets feed into each other organically; the sex moves feed into seduce-manipulate, which feeds into read a sitch/person, and also into Hx and highlighting. Etc. And all the steps here are communicated through direct fictional events/consequences.
2. Coherent MC instructions, and a similarly coherently defined role for the MC to play. Very little asking the MC for permission; instead, the players just get to do things and mark experience. In other words, the MC is not an XP bottleneck. To be fair, this one only works for AW in my experience; there’s several MH moves that push back into the realm of “hey, MC, do I get my experience yet?”
