I made a thing as I’m running a straight Apocalypse World game in an hour or so after an out of the blue request. Does it look like a laugh?

Its very Fiasco like…. Maybe just better to play fiasco?
+1 for “The world is in ruins and it needs heroes. I don’t know if you’re them. I was just making a point.”
Well that went pretty well, if I do say so myself. I’d like to thank those that commented on it, cheers fellas.
Ended up with a Gunlugger, a Driver and a Chopper. Someplace real fucking cold , running low on ammo stomping through the corpses of some bandits with a pack of cultist’s they’d pissed off on account of them stealing their nuclear warhead racing after them. Nothing was more important so they were racing to find a safe place to put it without it blowing up on them!
Did you end up revising? This is a pretty cool tool and I’d like to follow its development if you do more work on it.
Not before play. But if I use it again I may do; someone suggested taking Harholder from the list and putting in the Brainer, which is a genuinely good idea.
I’m glad you like it! I think rather than altering this one I might just consider making other ones wholesale. This one is all about creating a quick “bang bang bang let’s go” story, but I could easily fix up one for isolation or drama or despair. Or one for fantasy, science fiction or sexy vampires.
Patrick Scaffido Oh, that was for you, if you’re not passing through. ^
I like that idea too Tony. Seems like you could do a lot to help set up campaigns and games regardless of the setting, especially in terms of guiding player expectation so they know what kind of characters to be and what kind of rewards (or lack thereof) to expect.
