It’s been live on my blog today so I felt that I ought to announce it to the community. The “What is Apocalypse World?” brochure pdf has been uploaded and is now available. Use it to explain the game to new people, or to show off how the playbooks are put together. Everything written on the brochure is either from the main website or an explanation of the rules that my regular gaming group came up with. If you find a typo, let me know and I can change it. If you think the language needs to be edited, let me know and I’ll run it by my group because I defer to their collective wisdom.

Nice job. “Archtype” –> “archetype.” There’s also a “plabook” that should be “playbook.”
Not to be prudish, but if this brochure is intended for a broad audience, it might help to delete the profanity.

Everything under “Why to Play” comes from the website, and I can’t think of anywhere else where I wrote in profanity, so… I don’t see the problem. Besides, this is a game for adults.

Since there is more than just 11 playbooks, maybe you could specify that those are the core archetyps, but there are more and that they could be created by the players and MC
Igor Toscano It sounds like you’re advocating that I include concepts described in the “Advanced Fuckery” chapter and space is at a premium in this pdf, so I’m not going to include that stuff. Especially because it’s officially optional. Remember: this is for introducing the game to newbies, not explaining every detail of the game and it’s possibilites.

No, Patrick Henry Downs , I meant just add a note, one line I guess, saying there are more options around, including creating your own playbook. But I see how that could be difficult with the tight space.
Igor Toscano You can also say something about custom moves, but I don’t think either line is needed. If they enjoy playing, they will find out of both items once joining the community.
Spelling: p2, under NAME: post-apocalytpic should be post-apocalyptic.
