Look… Vincent Baker you already made it hard for me to decide if I wanted to play a Touchstone or an Angel every time. Now you add the Solace, and I don’t even know what to do anymore!

Isn’t that the whole thing about Apocalypse World? Giving you hard choices?
Good point.
The best solution is to play AW often, introduce new characters when you can and game the hell out of the elements you love.
It seems like if you’re interested in being a pacifist, the Solace is probably the way to go? Though I guess you could steal some moves from the Solace while playing a different type…
The Angel can end up going in very unexpected ways.
How do you get the Solace Plabook?
Tim Groth: You either bought AW during Epimas, or you ask someone who has it nicely for it.
Or you were given AW during Epimas!
Or you ask Vincent for it. nice-optional.
Brian Peters, i disagree that the touchstone is a pacifist encouraging playbook when they make everything about hard. Indomitable is just vicious as a move. If anything, i take the touchstone as a fanatic willing to use violence and intimidation to achieve their ideals (think The Operative from the movie serenity)
