It probably shouldn’t be surprising that games Powered by the Apocalypse can handle the paranormal horror genre, but when you’ve got more than one such game, which one might you want to play?   1. Poorly chosen words on my part. Meant to highlight that the two ARE very mechanically similar, flubbed the delivery . . . I really ought to write the blurbs the night before!

  2. My point is that they are not mechanically similar: it’s like comparing D&D and starwars d20… yes, ok, that base structure of the d20 system is the same, but apart from that they are two completely different games.

    That is more true for a pba system where only changing all the booklets changes half the mechanics of the game. And the two games have more differences than “just the booklets”…
