Prepping NPCs for our next game. With a lot of characters to track, visuals like these help my players remember who is who, and they help me when I’m playing their parts. The back of each has MC info like motivations, problems, and gear.

Neat! Where did you get the images?
Looks fantastic! Could you tell us how you made the images on the front?
Amazing!
Oh man, share these!
Niiiiiice….
Awesome. I did the same thing for my Star War Worlds game. I need to get stiffer paper however since none of the tents will stay up.
Cool!
Joe Beason I don’t know where Mr Lutes got those images. But you can try my own rogue gallery 😉 https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0Bw7h5jpDW7kucXdyVXJaRDJKdkk&usp=sharing
Thanks!
Aaron Griffin, what would be most useful? Pre-made NPCs, or portraits with blank places to be filled in? I guess I could share both. When I get up to a full dozen, I’ll post a link here.
Jason Lutes an editable format would probably be most useful. If that’s difficult, then maybe some blanks with pictures that say like “Name: __________” and “Look: _____” etc
Joe Beason, I did a quick redraw of images I found online and ran them through a Photoshop filter.
Volsung J.O., great gallery!
I like the dual functionality: player and GM aid. Neat idea!
Hey. It’s player-facing and GM-facing… at the same time!
In my pbta games most npcs don’t live long enough to have theit own character portraits…

Wow! Can you share a file with all that gorgeous stuff?
Lenny Pacelli, I’ll try to put something together this weekend.

Okay, I jammed it out. 9 NPCs from my home game as examples, and 33 portraits with spaces for filling in stuff. You can grab it here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/th6d6259xjm85ji/ApocalypseWorld_NPCstandees.pdf?dl=0
there are font problems when you view it through the Dropbox interface, but it should look fine in Acrobat.
Let me know if there are any problems!
Oh well, now I have to run AW because these portraits are just too beautiful not to use.
Great stuff! Thanks for putting these together and sharing.
One issue is the bold font used for all the headings: it actually looks worse and is harder to in Reader than on the Dropbox preview. What font are you using, I mustn’t have it installed?

I didn’t realize you needed the font installed to see it in a PDF. Color me clueless!
You can embed fonts into pdfs, but it’s optional and may increase file size.
