I have a concept for a playbook that I wonder if there is enough interesting design space to create. Drawing on the tropes http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheKidWithTheRemoteControl and http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/KidWithTheLeash as well as the mons genre and characters like Hiro from big hero 6, here’s the concept of …
The Leash
“Your just a normal, everyday kid. Well, except for that part where you are partnered with powerful enity follows your evey order. You’re a real hero, if only people could see past your partner and realize that.”

Makes me think about those kid and giant robot cartoons from the 1960s (Gigantor, Frankenstien Jr.). Could be a lot of fun!
Sure. There is a pet move in the Beacon, but that is rather limited. I’d like a playbook for the Bitches.

Yeah, this design idea has potential. The design climaxes would be the kid showing off his growth as a person and the “pet” maybe (or maybe not) leaving.
The Brain has a Robot Sidekick power.
I play a Bull whose “power” is his intelligent robot allies, who he can combine with or give suggestions to during combat. It’s worked out very well for me, even without buying the C’mon, Lucky or Kirby-Craft type moves. Other people may prefer specific mechanical backing for this kind of fiction, I’m just here to say that it’s not necessary.
Why not just play Monsters and Other Childish Things instead of shoehorning this into Masks?
Like Johnny Thunder’s Thunderbolt. Sounds to me like it has potential.
