Am I the only one that wishes the new joined had it’s own label track? I know it starts the same place as it’s other half (assuming that does not include the +1 at character creation), but you are likely to change your labels in different ways. It would be really nice if this could be added at least to the pdf (as I will likely be just printing like I do for the normal playbook)

  1. Nothing in their labels say they have to have parity with their other half once the game starts. The wording states rather clearly that your labels start out the same (and you can alter these as well). Your labels after however are free to shift as it never states they have to continue to be the same after. It simply says “start off the same”.

I do however Houserule that if your Playbook offers more than one Ability (and I house rule that all Playbooks do because the 1 Ability ones are..really tight) that you pick one that’s the same as your other half and one that’s not.

  2. I know. Im talking about the fact there is no table. I specifically mention starting the same bit advancing differently. And wishing there were a table like every other playbook to track inside the playbook. And the ability thing is irrelevant to what I mention, but really you let nova have two abilities? I’m fine with some having only 1, matter of fact I wish some others had less to pick, or more related options. Some end up feeling like a grab bag rather than a thematic charactet

  3. Yeah, other than the Nova.

And just print out a seperate track. Most people I’ve played with keep a sheet since Labels shift so often, erasing and rewriting just ruins the page after a point.

  4. You kind of have to, but as opposed to updating after each session the joined would have to keep an extra sheet. Hardly the worst thing but would be nice to have to

  5. Must just be something at my tables then. Everyone keeps extra sheets. A lot of my games are over the internet and on google docs so it’s especially easier to handle.

  6. I mean we keep scrap paper and in other games some of us keep spell lists and such. We haven’t gotten to a point with Masks where anyone had too many things on their playbook to need to carry something in addition to the playbook. Like I said nothing major, we do it for other games, but it would be nice having it on the sheet.
