  1. This is definitely a Monster and a Teen, but Tougher Stuff is unbalanced. If I was playing a Volatile character, there’d be no reason not to take it cross-playbook ASAP.

Perhaps add: “Once you take your 5th harm, you cannot discharge your harm through Darkest Self; you must lose all strings (minimum 5), heal over time, or die.”

  2. I can see what you are getting at.. Admittedly Tougher stuff is just something I pulled from a joke skin use I had about making a timelord from my first draft of this (it was called two hearts… Hence the 2)

As for everyone playing a volatile character I would think Short Rest for the Wicked would be greater benefit admittedly someone could now double stack them to have extra ham and no consequences but the. They have used 2 advancements taking things from other skins and probably locked themselves out of other options

I’m not certain that the locking out darkest self turn is a good fix… If it is too over balanced I might think reducing the 2 to a 1 would solve it better than a Cavat

  3. Besides there are plenty more tasty options for a volatile character like unknowable from the infernal… Primal dominance from the were wolf and smithing from the angel all of which seems to add just as much benefit to a volatile character than this move
