How are you all making this feel Far future. What do you describe or handle the overall nature of the game.

  1. High Tech, low morals. Make waves on the established chessboard, you get rooked, choomba! The ever-present rain stings from absorbing so many NOx molecules it is acid. The natural beauty of life has been leached out and so people are retreating into grubby electronic entertainments, perhaps only the semicircle around their computers kept clean. Nothing is friendly, no “hi, how are you’s”, it’s all rushing around with furtive glances but if they scan you favourably maybe they’ll stop to talk.

  2. It’s assumed that everyone in The Sprawl has cyberware. That makes it feel fairly futuristic to me.

In our game, based on Fantasy Flight Games’ Android: Netrunner universe, clones and cyborgs are everywhere, as are flying cars, colonies on Luna and Mars exist, everyone has a PAD (a Personal Access Device) and can communicate with anyone else nearly instantaneously.
