It’s been about three months since I released the roll20 character sheet for UW.
Have you guys been using it? Any problems? Suggestions?

Personally I think it’s fantastic. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to really use it well because I’ve been testing FBH characters (which were still in flux). But still: really cool.
I actually found myself unable to convert my game to it (from the basic “no sheet” format). Probably a Roll20 limitation. I wasn’t willing to lose all my handouts and notes making a new game.
I like the sheet. The game is very up-front and direct, and the sheet has a basic feel (like old Basic D&D maybe? It’s been a long time since games were so simple!)
Some ideas, suggestions (not really serious critiques):
–Can you make the Front/Back radio buttons bigger or in tab style so they can’t be missed?
–Stat Rolls and Armor rolls (Brace for Impact) are the only clickables on the sheet but they are a bit fixed. In reality people might add a Mod to a Stat such as a Data Point or a benefit from a Skill, so you may need a quick dialogue to ask for any mod before rolling (in Roll20 language it’s script like ?{Mod?|0} to pop up a box asking for a mod and give a default mod of 0 if you just enter with no number typed.) So a Fail! may turn into a success with a mod, but it’s better if mods can be added during a roll rather than after.
Hey, man, I’m getting some odd behaviour now. If I roll a Stat repeatedly, it seems to drop the plus sign for example 2d6+2 and turns it into 2d62 which is way off! Or for my 0 Stat, it turns into 2d60. For the stat with -1, there is no problem, it stays 2d6-1. I’m using Google Chrome.
Oh, it looks like it requires me to put + or – sign obligatorily on all numerals: +2, +1, +1, +0, and -1. Then everything works. You may want a tiny line of text to say signs must be put in front of each integer. Roll20’ers tend to omit + on a Stat because a formula like 2d6++2 will hang Roll20 rolls. But here you want us to write it. +0 or -0 will make no difference.
Aaron Griffin that sounds interesting. What happened when you tried?
Two thumbs up.
I’m using it. It nice.
If I could suggest some change it would be up to 6 slots for XP triggers so that when we play in a group of 3 (as the book suggest everyone should have two trigger then) so that I can have triggers of everyone on my sheet.
Second thing is a small box just to hold accumulated XP.
I like rolling results in chat.
Thanks for your feedback!
Hey guys! Was away for a while. A HD crash killed my changes to the sheet which silly me hadn’t pushed to Git yet. After that I was in no mood to redo them.
Today I got a request on twitter to add the Far Beyond Humanity content to the sheet ( I didn’t even know what that was so I checked here). Would like to do that but I don’t own the book yet and my regular job is quite demanding at the moment. If all goes well I’ll have some spare time in December and take a look at it.
