I’ve run UW for two different groups now.

I’ve run UW for two different groups now. One is my regular group which will be somewhat ongoing. The other a one-shot over the weekend.

Both groups named a Faction after Weyland-Yutani.

I have a feeling this isn’t uncommon.

  1. No indeed it is not uncommon. I feel that Weyland-Yutani is the Ur-Faction for a lot of sci-fi; an inscrutable yet active corporate faction that has a wide-range of goals, funds research and development and exploration, often does evil/stupid/selfish things yet employs good people who undo those mistakes, etc.

    It certainly passes the Might-Reach-Ideology-Organisation requirements for an UW Faction.
