Nobody? No adventures? =(
Not that I know if. Guess I found my project! 😉
Yeah, we haven’t made any official ones at least.
Traditionally, Apocalypse World system games are more improv than plotted. I haven’t played Worlds in Peril yet, but perhaps that’s why there’s no pre-made adventures?
Yeah, playing to find out what happens is a big part of pbta. That said, there are adventures, and they can be done, for Dungeon World and such. Mostly, they’re just pre-made Fronts (master plans) with antagonists and suggestions. So they help, but the best part about pbta is being able to wing great games, in my opinion 🙂
Would World in Peril adventures by me or anyone else have to be released under the Creative Commons license? I love that license and have used it myself, but I also feel nervous about its impact on trying to make a few bucks (not much, I know) on writing campaigns.
No, you’d only have to put it out under CC if you copied any of the text in the book, which would be unnecessary for an adventure.
Marvel Superheroes RPG (1980s) had a supplement called New York New York that offers a variety of random scenarios that characters could encounter in the city. These would work great with Worlds in Peril. You can download it below
