  1. In my game, this is one my players’ Powers: “- Copy another Powered Individual’s Powers (need extended physical contact, lasts a few hours[variable])”. How i handle it is that i consider the Powers of whatever individual they mimic’d to be on their Powers Summary now. Then, they have to Push just like with any other power to be able to do things with them. Hope that helps.

  2. I remember a discussion about this taking place somewhere but can’t seem to find it now. But there are a number of ways you could do it. Anyway, David’s idea is solid I think. It makes sense that someone absorbing a power wouldn’t be used to it so would have to Push to do stuff. I think I’d let them keep any powers they learn on their Powers Profile too via Pushing so that if they ever pick up the power again they’ve gotten used to those particular uses (but can only use them when they’ve absorbed said power of course).

So their Powers Profile could just be their limitations, like David said, that says either how long it lasts (seconds, hours, days, forever, etc.) and/or what needs to happen in order to absorb the power (contact, proximity, etc.)
