Would anyone be interested in playing a game based around an almost completely unknown hardcore scumbag indie fed. I like the idea but I’m not entirely sure how some thing would work. (the entire concept of the golden boy for example) anyone interested, and have any ideas towards how the golden boy would work.

Hmm, well okay, first thought on Golden Boy in this. Golden boy does not necessarily mean in ring/on show. it could be the backstage darling. Technically, you could have a goldenboy be a loyal as hell guy like Tommy Dreamer, who onscreen ALWAYS loses and gets his ass kicked. Things like that. if you think of things in terms of onscreen, offscreen, kayfabe, real, etc, then there’s a lot of ways you can go with things. ie, as I saw mentioned, everyone might hate the goldenboy ala Roman Reigns, or stuff.
Thanks, I wouldn’t agree with someone being like Tommy Dreamer being a golden boy, but i agree with most of it, and have an idea of how i can use the golden boy now

Yeah he’s not golden boy by right, but he was a sort of an essential backroom force, and with that COULD have been his own push, but chose not to. ……. And yes, I would be interested to be fair. I’ve actually never played this game before. I’ve ran 3 separate occasions but never played :P.

In a garbage fed, the Golden Boy could also be someone related to the promoter who is booked just to keep the family happy, or something like that.

The Golden Boy attached to the money is good. Someone booked in the fed that the other guys have to be extra careful with.
The Golden Boy is the owner/son of the owner of the 98 Lumber Yard, the fed’s only sponsor. Piss off them, and suddenly the ring stops getting repaired.
I’ve found that the shittier the fed, the more likely you are to use the injury rules, Work Real Stiff and Break Kayfabe. So you’ll see a wide spectrum of acceptable behaviors, which is cool.
Agreed. I was looking at golden boy and this type of fed screams somebone taking the Special Snowflake move.
I like the idea of the golden buy being friends with the boss, although the sponsor thing could work as well, whoever’s interested in the idea let me know when your available and I’ll try to set up a date for the first show.

well I can’t on tues, sat, or sun, other than that I have no plans as of now, I’m good for whenever, Wednesday would be convenient for me as i rarely seem to be booked to work than, but whenever people are free works for me.
