Scenario: Creative reveals the face is going over. The face rolls his finisher. The heel spends 2 momentum to use the heel move to override booking and counter the finisher and take the win himself. The face spends one momentum to interrupt and narrates no selling the Heel move and rolls Break Kayfabe for a roll up and quick count.
Question: Does this sequence seem like the correct application of the rules? Could the heel spend 2 more momentum? If so, how should Creative handle it?
This sounds like a perfect example of how the rules work, actually. The moves are listed in the correct order with the proper pre-reqs in place and everyone spending momentum at the correct time.
Personally, though, I would say that the Heel Move was used, and can’t be used again once the babyface Interrupts. Now, if the Heel was to use an Interrupt of their own, that might be more in line with the flow of events.
I’d say though, that is one convoluted and serious exchange of false finishes and two counts. Creative might even be forced to step in after the Babyface Interrupt and have the ref do a quick count to keep the booking as intended. Reminds me, actually, of the Sting/Jeff Hardy match from TNA Bound for Glory, only then, the Heel Move and the Break Kayfabe were both the same move.

I think that sequence sounds good (and escalates how I would expect, Heel Move can pretty much only be “countered” by Breaking Kayfabe). Whether the babyface has to spend the momentum to interrupt depends on the details, but since this was all in the confines of the wresting match I think it makes sense!
The fictional positioning matters in terms of whether the heel can Heel Move again, but I would imagine probably not – I mean, once the babyface has broken Kayfabe, he’s stepped outside of the wrestling reality that being a heel is part of, right? I would probably say that the heel could themselves Break Kayfabe and then you’re basically shoot fighting, which is handled entirely narratively.
Makes sense. If two guys are out there shooting, thats when you send some locker room enforcers out and end the match in a schmoz.
