So, I don’t know how much this idea has by way of practicality (Me being in the UK and working odd hours)
But is there any interest in a Play by Post game?
My idea would be to sort out individual matches in threads and then to post a write up of each match/ promo and potentially post them to this group if there was interest.
The other alternative would be just calling it a digital game and giving people the opportunity to do IRC matches too – since my missus is more likely to play if that’s available!
If you want to do something online, I’d actually suggest Discord. It’s free and very usable. We use that along with roll 20, because roll 20 doesn’t work with everyone.
The reason I say play by post is for time zone/organising times when people are together reasons
People have certainly done play-by-post – I know there’s at least one game at the RPGnet PBP forums that went through a full session, it’s possible!
Hi I’m in the UK but might be interested in trying a pbmail if you decide to give it a try?
Did you ever push forwards with this idea? Just reading through my freshly delivered hard copies from ks, very nice books.
Lack of vocal interest, so I did not!
No worries, if it ever does feel free to post here as I’d likely still be interested, thanks
