Is there a * World game that’s designed for just 2 participants, either 1-GM, 1-player or shared GMing. I’ve seen lots of (good) advice for adapting AW to 1 player, but I’m wondering if anyone has hacked more deliberately in this direction.

It’s a Whensday. You see a person coming toward you. Can’t make out much of their face–they’re wearing one of those eye-doctor “lens-1-or-lens-2” things, wearing it like a mask. As they approach you, you can hear it click-click-clicking, as they search for the right magnification to view you with.

This is a very preliminary draft of the core moves for what I’m calling “Antiviolence World.” It’s meant to be * World not for settings with no violence, but where the heroes don’t use violence except as a true last resort. I still want to let them do exciting things, have chases and investigations and pull off cons and interrogations. Probably need to add a generic interrogation move, or else fold that into the investigation one. Probably need to add some kind of act under fire/defy danger one too.

Stat names are completely tentative, as is the description of damage levels, ’cause I still don’t know what I’m doing with that. And playbooks are not fully even dreamed up yet. Probably that will take deciding more specifically what kind of setting I want to try first.

But comments are welcome. I just couldn’t seem to let this go and needed to try to find out if it’s headed anywhere useful.
