I don’t remember who said it, but someone described Apocalypse World characters as cars you steal then drive recklessly into wreckages. And an idea based on this occured to me. How would a game look where that is literally what goes on in the fiction. Meaning that when a PC has a character do something, that action is the evil influence of something from beyond reality from the perspective of characters in the world. I think for this to work best this hypothetical game should use premade characters like in Lady Blackbird so there is some shared reality of the characters that players can mess with.

Can someone give me advice on how to overcome a stumbling block? I have this issue as a MC with coming up with the results of moves, especially on a -6. It took me some time blankly staring at the MC and Threat moves before I did anything. What can be done to remedy this? I’m guessing that it would help to familiarise the various MC moves more thoroughly and learn to improv better (which I’d probably do by playing more as things currently stand). Does anyone have any other advice?

I’m curious how often has the line “You and what army?” been used in Apocalypse World sessions when one of the players is a Gunlugger with NOT TO BE FUCKED WITH? And what things resulted from that.

Hello fellow organisms, I have been lurking around here for some time and have a question to ask. Some time ago I saw a hack called something under the lines of “Waiting for the Bus in the Rain” but I can’t seem to find it again. Neither google nor the community search engine have helped in this. Does someone know where to get access to it?
