I finished my first game of Epyllion for Roll20con. It was fun and great, I had some great players that were not afraid to speak up and be creative! Our young drakes went on a mission to retrieve a pearl so that a dragon could propose to a clutchmate. They stole some potions from a sleeping dragon, and they faced off against the Moltis (Mole-Mantis) queen with wit and nerve, and got caught by a Pillear (A Pill bug-Bear), and cast some powerful magics to calm the angry hearts and control the wind, and they broke up a fight between the long tooth drakes that broke out over fighting about the pearl. The proposal may not have gone well, but the young drakes were successful in creating peace where there was nothing but anger and confusion.

Good job to my players.

My Random Name Table that I threw together, because I need dragon names, and I’m okay with squishing things together.

Huzzah!

Huzzah!

Huzzah! It has landed! Sort of. And I can solemnly attest that the very first effect of the official rules and setting information is someone being a wee bit disappointed that she can not in fact play a pink ‘t’ien lung’ style girl dragon because there are no girl dragons. (Cub has not yet fully processed that there are no ‘boy’ dragons either.)

Cub has set her heart on playing a Crafter. And by the moons, dre will be pink. More to follow when and as time permits.

Greetings!

Greetings!

Greetings! I’d like to run a one-shot session of Epyllion online, and I’m hoping to find a few brave dragons to participate. No prior experience with the rules necessary–everyone is welcome!

I’m planning to run this on May 28, 29, or 30, depending on everyone’s availability. The game should last no more than four hours. I’ll have some pre-generated dragons ready, or you can bring your own. I’m planning to use Google Hangouts, but I can adapt if people would rather use Roll20 or Skype or some other platform.

This is an early test of an adventure I plan to run at Origins, and I’m hoping to find out what happens when I put it out in front of actual players.

Reply if you’re interested and I’ll set up a private G+ group to discuss scheduling and characters.
