Can you please summarize for me the concepts and clocks for arc that you have run?
I’m trying to come up with an arc and I have no idea how to set up the clock, should each step be a mystery, but then if hunters kill every monster the last step doesn’t make sense etc, so I’m looking for examples.
Fellow Keepers, what’s the most number of hunters you’ve run through a mystery?
Fellow Keepers, what’s the most number of hunters you’ve run through a mystery? How should I modify a mystery for more than the recommended 4 – 6?
Also, if I wanted to use a mob of minions, how much Harm capacity should each have? Is one minion per hunter appropriate or challenging if each minion can take 3 – 4 Harm?

My first mystery!
My first mystery! The players really enjoyed it. I improvised quite a bit of stuff that isn’t in here. But it was a great setup for future mysteries as I introduced some key players.
One of my favorite moments was after the players realized the mummy’s weakness to fire; the mummy also had an insect form and insect attack. They connected these two facts in the most unexpected, but logical and amazing way: their main weapon for the fight was citronella tiki torches. In fact, the mummy was downed with a tiki torch thrown javelin style.

Quick question for you all. I am a first-time Keeper with a few campaigns in mind for my Hunters. However, one of my Hunters had their wife and child killed by a vampire and for the life of me I can’t think of a good vampire mystery that isn’t campy. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good one, maybe with a Bhalkan vampire or a Dhampir so it’s more scary? Thank you!

My goal for this mystery is to show the hunters more of what MotW can offer: evil humans, crazy monsters, and a more confined location. That being said, I’m wondering if I went a tad overboard on my monster for this one.

Looking for some ideas. I plan to have a person running a private mental institution for nefarious purposes. I am thinking either to create a nightmarish reality or just as a means of finding and stealing people living on the margins….. those having no friend or family contacts for the purpose of doing something bad.
And good thoughts on something that isn’t overly cliched and could be frightening/creepy ?
