There is an adventure starter for The Veil in this issue, aside from it just being chalk full of amazing content and art, as usual!

Check it out! Between Glitch City and this scenario being released July 1st, there will be some good examples in the wild as far as constructing a scenario to play.

This ones a lot less heavy handed than Glitch City, which focuses a lot more on displaying how the MC might interact with the PC’s moves.

Codex – Neon is shaping up nicely. I thought I’d share an art preview with the community. This is an illustration by the talented Alex Prinz for a scenario for The Veil by Fraser Simons.

Alessandro Rossi is a real life architect, I don’t think I’ve showed this off before.

Alessandro Rossi is a real life architect, I don’t think I’ve showed this off before. But the multiple tiered Taipei setting I came up with realized visually by him is really, really cool.

The Veil: Cascade

It’s going to be an album of specially crafted ambiences and soundscapes, for backing for your roleplaying session, if that’s your thing. Blending Cyberpunk sounds, futuristic tones with audio of Cityscapes and urban elements, which will be recorded and sourced to correspond with the Settings featured.

But also it’s going contain a number of musical ambiences and movements inspired by the game itself, by the Playbooks and by the stimulating artwork throughout, which can be heard as its own piece, with the aim of creating an additional sensory and sentimental link between your story and the source material.

These two approaches will be synthesized in one flowing album, moving between soundscapes and soundtrack and back. It’s going to be fun to make! Hopefully you’ll like it and choose to add it to your The Veil: Cascade pledge. Just add $14CAD to your current pledge – when the fulfilment process begins we’ll send you the download information for the full 180min album.

There’s a demo on the Campaign frontpage for you to get an impression :o)

Good afternoon, Fraser Simons.

Good afternoon, Fraser Simons.

Good afternoon, Fraser Simons. Had a question regarding the Cascade supplement. In the quickstart, the Beliefs have been replaced with Questions. Is this intended to be a rules revision, or a change specific to the setting/timeframe posed by The Cascade? I dig both rules, just curious as to the intent. Thanks!
