Kasper Brohus Allerslev will be running a One-Shot Session of Urban Shadows and has the following to say:

I’ll GM this like a “first session” in AW. Basically, we’ll just follow the characters around and see them do what they do.

The average day in AW is a pretty shitty one, but I figure that the everage day in US is a pretty fucked up one instead.

My friends and I started a new Urban Shadows campaign last night set in Baltimore.

My friends and I started a new Urban Shadows campaign last night set in Baltimore. We created characters, discussed the city and its factions, and played out a few scenes for an hour or so. Had an Immortal, Aware and Spectre.

New Faction advance system worked out as expected, they all got 2 of 4 faction marked within the hour and a half of playing and it got them all right into messing with the city’s politics.

The Immortal and Aware owed a Debt to the Vampires who called it in, asking them to retrieve a foreign dignitary who had supposedly wandered into Spring Court territory (which was a breach of their accord). The Immortal and Aware were neutral though and could enter the area to find the missing vampire without risking an inter-faction disaster. Meanwhile the Spectre was contacted by Prince Kalen of the Spring Court to steal an item from a man named Lucius, an ancient spear of no apparent value. Turns out the spear is probably the Spear of Destiny, but don’t tell Fleur, she has no clue. (All these prompts came about from the Session Opening move).

Weather was bad today, so I had some fun with Photoshop and made some more fan art!
