The Neighbor – a (stranded) member of mortality.

The Neighbor – a (stranded) member of mortality.

The Neighbor – a (stranded) member of mortality.

Once, you had a life, then the Otherwhere came, and took you away. You escaped, but the Otherwhere is still a symbol of distance from you.

Look – a monster in that reflection.

Listen – there is circus music between the violins’ sighs.

Wouldn’t you like to take power from them?

The neighbor takes inspiration from the Neverending story, Alice in Wonderland, Jumanji, Pan’s Labyrinth, Don’t Rest your Head, Beast: the primordial, Changeling: the dreaming.

So, that’s a draft, and i would really appreciate some critique in order to make the playbook more focused.

BLACKMAILING.

BLACKMAILING.

BLACKMAILING.

My players have finally unleashed a terrible virus in all the settlements around, and i would like to create a custom move for when time comes to get paid.

I would really, really appreciate some hints about the move, and some ideas about what could i put in the squeeze list.

Your minimum squeeze starts at 0.

When times come to get tribute, and you have enough vaccines for everyone, choose how much you want to squeeze them (minimum squeeze-4) and roll+squeeze.

In addition to the result of the roll, take enough smorgasbord of medical stuff to make another round of temporary vaccines, and pick 2+squeeze from the squeeze list.

On a 6-, nothing else.

On a 7-9, choose 1:

– someone can’t or won’t pay. Make them suffer publicly, or the MC makes a move.

– an unexpected community comes. You have one or two new options from the squeeze list, but you have to pay for their medical material upfront, and your minimum squeeze increases by 1.

– medical material is getting scarce. You can’t choose to gain more medical material, and you just replenish 3/4 of the one you need.

On a 10+, choose 2.

On a 13+, really bad shit happens.

Squeeze list example (may change, depending on the month):

– Take 20 slaves from St.Patrick or Madison.

– Take 3 extra smorgasbord of medical material from Madison or Brooklin’s Raiders.

– Take a rare good from the world before from the Consortium or Brooklin’s Raiders.

– Force St.Patrick technician to work for you.

– Ask Madison or Brooklin’s Raider to destroy someone.

– Give the medicines for free to someone – you’ll gain the respect of the population.

*smorgasbord of medical material can be used to create vaccines, by the savyhead for his project, or by the Angel to replenish her stock.

ZOMBIE TIME!

ZOMBIE TIME!

ZOMBIE TIME!

Someone may help me for a bunch of moves for Apocalypse World?

Zombies in my campaign are slow, not really intelligent, one-shottable but there is a lot of them, and they have some sort of hive mind.

How can i manage the following situations?

–When you try to clear an area from few zombies…

–When you try to clear an area from a lot of zombies…

–When a huge horde of zombie is assaulting your group, and you are leading the way out…
